Farhan Akhtar Posts Screenshot Of His Booking At Drive-In Vaccination Facility; Shuts Down Speculations Of Getting Access Due To His Privilege
Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter to end speculations about him getting access to drive-in vaccination facility because of his star status. He shared a screenshot of his online appointment at the facility, proving that he booked it fair and square
A few days ago, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media account to share that he got his first jab of COVID-19 vaccine at a drive-in vaccination center at Andheri. He thanked the BMC and Mumbai Police for the streamlined system, and also shared his experience about the process taking 2 to 3 hours. With limited slots as of now, only those who have registered online beforehand can get access to the vaccine. However, a Twitter user recently slammed Farhan Akhtar, accusing him of unfairly getting access to drive-in vaccine center due to his celebrity status.
Now, Farhan Akhtar took to his Twitter to end speculations about him getting access to drive-in vaccination facility because of his star status. He shared a screenshot of his online appointment at the facility, proving that he booked it fair and square. A Twitter user asked Farhan Akhtar to clarify once and for all by sharing a screenshot of his booking. “If this is true then @FarOutAkhtar should clarify, show a booking screen shot. Else its the prominence over general availability and a case of prominant people having better access,” wrote the Twitter user.
In response, Farhan Akhtar shared the screenshot of his confirmed appointment, and tweeted, “Thank you for @anubhavdps asking the logical question. This deserves a reply. Here you go... #staysafe #staysane.”

It was yesterday that a Twitter user criticized Farhan and wrote, “Another VIP brat @FarOutAkhtar gets out of turn vaccination at the drive-in reserved for 60+years senior citizens... Either he is 60+, physically challenged that we do not know off, or used his status for vaccination.” Farhan Akhtar replied that those above the age of 45 are eligible for the facility. “The drive in is for 45 + .. now do something constructive for society with your time like losing your phone,” tweeted Farhan Akhtar.
